We partner with several Upper Midwest colleges and universities to give interested students an opportunity to learn more about a career in agriculture during their internships. You will work hard, learn a lot, and gain real life appreciation for the many rewarding careers in agriculture.

R.D. Offutt Farms' internship programs deliver hands-on learning in real life agriculture settings with the potential for full-time employment upon graduation.

Farm Operations Internships

What to Expect

During this rotational 8-12 week summer internship, you will spend time working on the job in the following areas to gain overall farming experience: farm management, planting, agronomy, cultivating, shop maintenance, warehouse operations, irrigation, harvest and trucking.

Agronomy Internships

What to Expect

R.D. Offutt Farms and Syngenta, agriculture leaders, are partnering to create a unique opportunity for college students pursuing a career in agriculture. During this internship, you will have a hands-on learning experience working on real projects and real solutions. You will see the vertically integrated farm experience, from seed production all the way through processing the raw product, working with industry experts from R.D. Offutt Farms, Syngenta and university professors who support the potato industry.
